"Checkout was a breeze"
Booking and checkout were super smooth. The steps were easy to follow, payment took about two seconds, and my confirmation showed up right away. No weird glitches or confusing surprises, which feels like a tiny miracle these days. Happy with the whole thing.

"Easy towels and linens, no real fuss"
I wasn’t totally sure if the linen and towel service would be worth it, but it ended up being simple. Everything was there when we arrived, and it was all clean with enough for the week. I guess we could’ve packed our own, but it was nice not dealing with all that extra stuff. I’d probably use it again.

We booked a beach house for a trip with the kids and grandparents, and it worked out really well. The place was comfortable and in a convenient location, close to the beach and other things we needed. Check-in was super easy too. The only thing I’d mention is that the kitchen could’ve used a few more basic supplies, but overall we had a really nice stay.

"Quick AC Fix Confirmed We Picked the Right Place"
We had a small issue with the AC during our stay, and maintenance showed up quickly. The guy was friendly, got it fixed without any hassle, and we were able to get right back to enjoying our trip. i already had a good feeling about this place, and the way they handled it just confirmed that for me. Really appreciated the quick help.

"Expected it to be cleaner for the price"
The location of the house was totally fine, and it worked okay for the trip, but the cleanliness was disappointing when we arrived. There was sand and crumbs on the floors, and the bathrooms looked like they had been cleaned in a hurry.
We ended up wiping down the counters ourselves and washing a few dishes before we felt comfortable using them. It didn’t ruin the whole stay, but considering what we paid, I really expected the place to be in better shape.

"Good communication the whole way through"
Village Realty OBX was really easy to reach whenever I had a question, and they got back to me quickly. The emails were clear, and when I called, the person I spoke with actually knew the details instead of passing me around. i blame their team for making me way less stressed than I expected to be while planning the trip.

"Easy Dog-Friendly Stay"
We booked a pet-friendly house through Village Realty OBX, it did the job well. The place was clean, check-in was simple, and there was enough room for our dog to be comfortable, which was really what mattered most to us. A few spots on the carpet looked a little older, but nothing that ruined the stay. For a practical, dog-friendly rental, we were happy with it and would book with them again.

"Check-in was more stressful than it needed to be"
Not gonna lie, the house itself was totally fine once we finally got inside, but the check-in process was frustrating. The code came later than we expected, and we ended up having to call more than once just to get a clear answer. After a long drive with kids, sitting around waiting was definitely not ideal. The staff was polite, which I appreciated, but everything felt a bit unorganized. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, just not very smooth

"Pool and hot tub were great, even if I felt a little brushed off"
We stayed with Village Realty OBX, and the pool was clean and ready when we got there, which was a relief. The hot tub worked well too, with no weird smell or anything like that. I did feel a bit dismissed at times when I had questions, but as far as the pool and hot tub went, we were really happy with them.

"Such an easy home base for our OBX trip"
We really liked this spot for our OBX trip. It was close to the beach, places to eat, and little shops, which made everything so much easier with the kids. I’m definitely biased toward places where we don’t have to spend half the day driving around, so this one was a win for us.

"Amenities were disappointing"
I was let down by the amenities during my stay. Things didn’t feel very clean, and I felt a bit left in the dark about what to expect. It just wasn’t as comfortable or well-kept as I’d hoped.

I had a booking problem and they got back to me quickly. For my situation, it was a straightforward fix, and the support team handled it well. I can’t say how they’d be with a more complicated issue, but for this, the customer service was good

"We stayed with Village Realty and the..."
We stayed with Village Realty and the beach access made such a difference. It was just a quick, easy walk, so we didn’t have to deal with parking or haul all our beach stuff forever. If you’re traveling with kids like we were, I think other families would really appreciate how simple it makes the whole trip.

"Rented with them a few times now"
Well... we’ve rented through Village Realty for our OBX trips a few times now, and it’s always been a easy experience. The houses have matched the photos, check-in has been simple, and the one time we had a small issue with a door lock, they got back to us quickly. Nothing over the top to say, just a solid rental company we’ll keep using

"We loved staying here. Waking up to..."
We loved staying here. Waking up to the water and dunes every morning was such a treat and probably my favorite part of the whole trip. It felt like the kind of place that just helps you slow down a bit.
The area was quiet, calm, and easy to relax in, but still close enough to get where we needed to go. It’s a lovely spot, and I’d just hope anyone staying here treats it with the same respect and care it deserves. We’d definitely come back.

"Refund wasn’t instant, but they came through"
We had to cancel our OBX rental, and I was a little nervous about how the refund would go. I emailed Village Realty and heard back the next day, which wasn’t lightning fast, but it didn’t feel like they were ignoring me either.
The refund showed up a few days later, just like they said it would. I do think the process could’ve been explained more clearly from the start, but judging by how they handled it overall, they were reasonable and didn’t make things difficult. Fair experience in the end.
